Please note that this community mission has been cancelled.

The Borough Food Cooperative at St George the Martyr Church acts as a subsidized supermarket, and is providing essential supplies to local households who are unable attend the shop in person.

This Saturday 13th We need 2 volunteers to join the delivery team between 11am-1pm.

On arrival volunteers will meet Adam, the Food Hub Coordinator who will assign the deliveries, and show your where to collect your food packs.

You will need to bring a backpack or panier bag to transport your deliveries in.

All deliveries happen within a 1-1.5 mile radius of the food hub, they can be made by bike or on foot. Volunteers usually complete around 3 deliveries in a 2 hour shift.

Please ensure everyone wears a mask in the distribution hub and follows strict social distancing procedures.

How are you getting there?

Hi Both

The task owner has been in touch to say we are no longer needed for tomorrow, so unfortunately this session has been CANCELLED.

Apologies for the late notice, hopefully we will have more sessions arranged in the next few weeks.

Many thanks.
