Much better up North

What a great feeling to see fellow GGers in the flesh and those red and black T-shirts on a Monday night. Arriving at scene shortly before 7 we were soon joined by Beth and someone who had followed her from the traffic lights - actually not quite true as newbie Matt was on his first mission having moved to York just before lockdown (big cheer for Matt) who had seen the red T-shirt at the lights and decided he better introduce himself to Beth rather than just follow her to the playground at Clarence Garden! Splitting into 3 groups we quickly completed the task with Beth and Matt taking one route, Egg and Max another and Jenna and Pete getting up to 42 benches in Clarence gardens itself (all be it within a very small area). Whilst it was not a GG Monday task as we remember it - hopefully it is a move in the right direction, great too see 24 of us involved across the 4 sectors and hopefully Matt will be back convinced that we are not just a bench appreciation group.
