Beauty and the Beast

8 Goodgym members including Aruna who has came back for her 2nd task and brought a christmas pudding to donate and great to meet Steve for the first time, we all met to run to B-insprired Food Bank in Braunstone where we were greeted by Nigel with hot drinks for an icy morning. Along with 100's of Beauty products donated to make beauty bag christmas presents for Foodshare members and local residents within the Braunstone community. The team cracked on adding 9 items per gift bag and after some decanting and quality control, 80 bags were created.

Me, Aruna and Jeanette ran a warm up lap around Braunstone park and met the rest of the team who walked to the bottom of the beast of a hill, (34ft elevation). Timer set for 20 min we all ran up the hill with all our effort to run down the loop as our recovery. Everyone did amazingly, all supporting each other a few of us paired together with someone of similar speed to keep each other going.

Weldone team, well earnt rest this afternoon after beauty bags and beast of a hill, we are ready for our re-launch tomorrow!
