Balsam bashing at St Nicks
Providing space for native wildflowers
Please note that this community mission has been cancelled.
If you haven't been to the task last Monday here is a great opportunity to taste Himalayan Balsam bashing.
Maria and Jonathan from St Nicks have asked for a team of 8 to help with clearing the invasive Himalayan balsam from banks of the beck. This will make way for native wildflowers and encourage a range of different species to grow, supporting wildlife from bees and butterflies to water voles and otters.
Please bring your gardening gloves.
Meet at the St Nicks Environment Centre entrance.
