Eight of us headed back Youth Moves at Springfield allotments to continue with some weeding, clearing, path defining and general helpfulness. Mel and Ella made a head start before the others came and made good progress!

Mel had the tune of baby shark in her head which was very fitting as the grass seed Darren had sown last week was sprouting, whilst we picked away at wee bits of grass and weeds in the new beds. I still have the song stuck in my head and even more so as I saw this video today - anyone fancy the baby shark challenge?! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LurCQ9XGkt0

I slipped over and landed on my dominant wrist - ouch - which I will use as my excuse for my lateness it writing this report (not really, my wrist is fine!)

We were rewarded at the end with a choice of the allotment produce including chard, plums, tomatoes and apples which we managed to get to our homes safely and Matt D used the chard in a curry for dinner - yum!

As always, it was a lovely evening full of GoodGym loveliness and it was nice to see familiar and new faces. Welcome to Ella who has attended GoodGym community missions a few times now :)

There were definitely some more funny puns to add to this report but I don't think they are appropriate, maybe next time!
