Geraldine and Adam (I think!) were asked to help in the backroom stores (just as I arrived, soz); meanwhile Tracey, Judith, Liv and I were assigned to the dining hall. After Judith took £1 per client (or a free pass for those who were most vulnerable and in need), a hearty lunch of chicken, pasta or fish & chips was portioned out, followed by a sweet snack, and the offer of a hot drink. Tracey & Judith were both baristas and dishwashers - multi-talented GoodGymming. Most importantly, the homeless and vulnerable of Wandsworth and Lambeth could enjoy a hot meal indoors as the Ace of Clubs has been able to open the doors of its dining hall rather than just serve take-away meals from the car park. Happy new year; good riddance covid (fingers crossed).
