Sam, Daryl and I met outside Mr J's flat and put on our masks and cleaned our hands. We were ready to move a sofa! It was going smoothly as we unzipped the cushions and got them outside, the easy bit!

Next the challenge of getting a big sofa out of a narrow door. How did they get it in? We asked for a screwdriver to remove the feet. Mr. J' s son came by and after taking them off we still couldn't get it through the door. What next?

After unzipping the underside of the sofa we saw the solution, taking an arm off. Luckily the toolkit had the spanner required and the arm came off. With that, it was easy to get it out of the flat and then way out back to the dump. A second trip took the cushions away and now there is space for a hospital bed, so Mr J's partner can come home for Christmas.

Merry Christmas to you both!
