it had been raining all night but come 08.30 it stopped! 4 hardy juniors turned up to the park, and at the run briefing we all celebrated a 75 run, 25 run wristband & our very own Jacks 25 volunteer wristband. Well done everyone. The tailwalker crossed the finish and the heavens opened and we all got wet packing up! The joys of Volunteering !

today we celebrated Jacks 26th parkrun volunteering here at Juniors, having started as Duke of Edinburgh he decided to stay volunteering. That shows the wonderful attitude of young people which was also showed by the 13 who attended today, i was on marshal post 6 & i was so impressed with those at the front who crossed the finish then ran back to cheer and encourage the rest of the attendees and not just their siblings, pure joy.

13 runners today almost all getting pbs cery well done. 191 attended Eaton juniors along with Liz volunteering.

Tonights we were given 120 Daffodil bulbs to plant at Catton Grove Community Centre. 9 GoodGymer's ran 6km to the venue as the sun was setting, and met Linda who provided the tools.

Listening to the sounds of Zumba coming from indoors, we spread out to plant the bulbs. We were also able cut back some of the bushes and clear away weeds around the entrance.

Ah hour flew by and the task was complete. Massive Kudos to Elizabeth who achieved her 500th Parkrun Volunteer session at the weekend! And High Five to Ben for his 10th Good Deed tonight.
