On a very rainy day, I arrived to meet Mrs M and Mr C. They had a list of jobs ready for me!

First up was removing the light shades around the house so that they could be dusted and cleaned. We worked around their property and double checked that all the lights still worked when the shade was removed.

Second was the curtains. Mrs M wanted to wash one pair and replace another. I managed to take both down ready for washing. We popped the new pair up on the bedroom and bunched them up so you could see the lovely pattern. Mrs M said “I can’t tell you how happy that’s made me!” Once again a reminder of the impact of GoodGym.

Third up was the clocks… Mrs M explained that all of the clocks were showing the wrong time and needed new batteries but they were out of reach. Three clocks later and we were done! Mrs M also kept the old batteries for recycling. 👍

Mrs M has a small trolley that also needs putting together but it looked beyond my capabilities so we’ll save that for another mission!

It was lovely to meet Mrs M and Mr C. The mantelpiece was full of birthday cards but Mr C explained that every birthday, they kept the funniest card to giggle at throughout the year!

Time to head off. Mrs M and Mr C were very happy with the freshened up curtains and the clocks! They’re looking forward to meeting another GoodGym person at the return mission to rehang the curtains!
