Our support of York Foodbank continued with backup arriving in the form of Ellie. We very quickly broke last year's total of crates filled and ploughed on after the record -should smash it on Saturday!

A few things were discovered: -Tim's smiles (and shorts) attract all the ladies over to donate. -Ellie attracts the crazies to either yell or rant at her. -Our stall displaying what to donate can be confused with a weird raffle. -Turning your back on the trolley makes it fill up. -We made Tesco sell out of Smash. Possibly for the first time ever. -British people like buying tea. Packing it makes you want it SO BAD.

Eventually we packed up to go our separate ways (shopping in my case), and sort of resisted riding on the empty crate wheels to the storeroom (mainly cos they were not at all stable!). Hopefully the overnight donations will be overflowing for the 9'o clock team!
