It was back down to the location of our very first GoodGym Islington task location in Grenville Road to tackle some more stubborn roots this evening.

20 of us were keen on this lovely summer evening, including first timer Rebecca who didn't waste time setting off with the fast group and got stuck in like a champion at the gardens.

But before we headed over it was time for some "alien circuits" on the weird crop circle thingy on Highbury Fields. We split into five groups of four and each huddled into a "pod". Each pod had been assigned an exercise which it was necessary to perform for 30 seconds to impress any extra-terrestrial observers, before zooming round to do the next one.

So, press ups, squats, calf raises, star jumps and plank completed, and vulcans suitably impressed, we split into two groups and made our way north to the garden where we were met by Jessica from FROGG. Will, Caitlin and Stephen got stuck into some composting work while the rest of us split into two larger groups: one carrying on uprooting on the wild flower bed (a few mini victories, as evidenced by Ryan and Ben in photos) and the other weeding within the gardens (after a quick garden circuit while Simon and Jessica got some tools and gloves ready). Tonight's biscuits were Choc Orange DIgestives and Dark Choc Hob Nobs. Both very tasty.

On the way home we stopped off at Emirates for some "stair intervals". This involved running super fast up the steps, jogging back down, then realising that only 20 seconds had passed and we had 2 minutes 40 left and we had set off way too fast. Tough work, but a great workout and effort from everybody involved.

A quick debate back at the pool revealed that most people thing a holiday abroad is better then a staycation, but it does depend where you're going and of course airports can be stressful, so who knows?
